Screen stays Blue

I have a Gateway laptop I don't know much about laptops but it has Windows Vista what the problem is is the screen stays Blue it Powers up all the lights in the buttons come on the battery charges and it makes beeping noise when you hit the keys.wjen u press control alternate delete the screen will go blank for a minute and then start back up blue can anybody help me with this problem and give me information on what to do 1919 ew
