Screen stays Blue

I have a Gateway laptop I don't know much about laptops but it has Windows Vista what the problem is is the screen stays Blue it Powers up all the lights in the buttons come on the battery charges and it makes beeping noise when you hit the keys.wjen u press control alternate delete the screen will go blank for a minute and then start back up blue can anybody help me with this problem and give me information on what to do 1919 ew

The beeping is a DEAD give away. It is dead. Since you don't have much experience, and the Laptop is running vista, go and get you a new device, as you will spend the same amount of money to fix that one, as it would take to buy a new one! UNless you know of a good trust worthy technician!
