USB does not show in computer Solved/Closed

Question

Hello ,

I am trying to fix the problem of USB inserted showing on Windows .

My OS is Windows 7 Basic

Whenever I insert a USB Flashdrive or External Hard Drive , this item/s would show in Computer .

Previously working , this is no longer the case .

Please help .

Try a different USB port!  Start with that.  Unplug your mouse, and plug it back in, did it recognize that?  If it did, then put the muse into the same port as the oe that you have been trying the USB whatever device.  Did it work?  If so, the USB is either dead, or you told the PC TO NOT DO ANYTHING when a USB WHATEVER device was inserted.
