I found my iPod under my bed. it does not turn on (now cracked)

Hello, I recently found my iPod 4th Gen under my bed. I tried turning it on and It woudent come on. After a few hours It cracked it, so is there a way I can turn it on or something? (I haven’t tried charging it I will try that soon)
