Cannot connect to remote computer

i upgraded to FortiClient6 which was told by IT would retain my connection id's. I lost my regular laptop, tho I had updated on my work laptop, which was set up on previous version, have been trying to get all the information upgraded. I have now been able to get the connection to work, but the secondary popup screen that would state Connect is not appearing, and tho the Forticlient screen says Im connected, Im not getting the screen to Connect and my remote is not seeing my work computer. any thing I am leaving out?

Ask IT. It is their network!
