Ps3 Not Finding IP address

Hey, sooo my ps3 has been not finding my IP address for a few days no matter what I have done. I've gone through sooooooo many ways people have said (like go through the Newwork setting and make sure the MAC is disabled ((I don't know wtf MAC cause there ain't one for me just one I call MSC)), the one where you turn off but the ps3 and router then blah blah blah, we also tried factory resetting that didn't work... Nothing bas worked, took it to GameStop and it worked fine there but once I plugged it in it didn't work.
This console has been with me for almost 5 years and was a birthday gift so it means alot to me and I don't wish to get a new ps3 unless I HAVE to... Anyone know of anyother way to fix it?
