Hello guys,

Please I need your help. I set up a two factor authentication on my Facebook business page. I reset my iPhone to factory and re-downloaded the google authentication app. However, I am no longer getting the authentication code. I requested through SMS but no success. I reached out to Facebook to authenticate me but Facebook said they are unable to do so. Please how do I bypass this two factor authentication code through google app and regain access to my account? This is very frustrating as this is my business page. I am losing my customers. Please help me, guys!

System Configuration: iPhone / Safari 14.1.1

Hi,

As you haven't received the SMS code, I suggest you wait several minutes as it may take some time to arrive. You can also try requesting a new code.

It is also possible to use your printed recovery codes to approve your login, even if you can't use the authentication app or get a SMS code.

If you're already logged in from another device, you can approve your login attempt from there.

If none of the above worked, click on Need another way to authenticate in the "Two-factor authentication required" screen. Select Other options > Submit a request to Facebook to get help.

Good luck

Thank you. I did not save the recovery code for Facebook. I only saved the ones for my IG. I have tried all the above you suggested, no success. It’s been a week now and Facebook support is not helpful. Can I hack my own account? Could that help?

Did you try to submit a request to Facebook? You'll be asked to confirm your identity, then they'll disable the two-step authentication for you.

If you've already tried to send a request to Facebook but that didn't work, try following these instructions to recover a Facebook account.

Good luck
