Ps3 to laptop wireless

Hello,
i have a laptop and a ps3 and I wanted to know if you could hook them up wirelessly? they both get on the enternet wireless just woundering. how to get moives from laptop to ps3 ? id rather watch movie on tv useing ps3 . tv not new enough for usb or hdmi cable

Yes, It can be done.

you need a router ,,click start ,network tick all except password sharing ,then on network add wireless device it will find unkown device name it your name ps3 ,then click start documents on left pain folders theres a video folder drag an drop the film in to there and your done go to video on ps3 you will see your windows name and ps3 you created hope this helps ;-)

hi just wanting to know I also have a ps3 and a laptop I have a usb internet big pond ultimate for my internet for my laptop so is there any way of getting internet threw to my ps3 from my laptop or not many thanks

No this can't be done,

You will need a switch or router to connect the 2 devices to the internet
