I have a question regarding an Inspiron 6000 and the speakers not working after an upgrade from XP to vista. IF there are any solid answers please reply. Thanks.

You will need to install the audio driver for Vista,

http://ftp.us.dell.com/audio/R99254.EXE

This is the driver you need
