Toshiba New LCD screen won't light up

Hello, I ordered a new LCD screen for my other PC laptop Toshiba Satellite A 80, as it was powerfully hit on the back of the LCD, the laptop went on the ground, no image. Ok , from this stage the frist thing I ;ve done, I connected to an external monitor and it works OK, just the LCD screen of the laptop is gone . Now I ordered this new one and the image come up very dark and no light at all, do you think it would be the inverter problem ?
