Hello,

My inspiron 1525 will not read CDs or DVDs. I am running Vista and the machine is about one year old.

hello sir,

use a lens cleaner and clean the lens

if the issue is the same then go to device manager and

update the driver firmware

Hello,

Hello,

i have a problem with my Dell Inspirion 1525 laptop.
i suddenly seem to be able to connect to the interent wirelessly only when I am DIRECTLY next to the router
& I see that in my computer's properties the word "Base System Devices" is shown twice with an exclamation mark..

what is the problem, can I fix it myself, and is that what has my wifi connection horrible all of a sudden??

Hello, and help me, please. I have been going around with Dell for them to send me new disks to do a COMPLETE factory reset. They refuse since I don't know the name of the person who originally owned it. I have the service # and the vista tag, but they say too bad, goodbye. This is a computer I got for my 15 year old grandson.
I have searched youtube, about, anywhere I can think of, and they all say F8, nope doesn't give me that option. I have tried F 10, 11, 12, nope. PLEASE HELP me out! The computer will not connect to the internet, it says the adapter is off, I have tried fixing it many times.
