Vista- Special characters displayed wrongly

Hello, I brought TOSHIBA U400-136 laptop yesterday and have windows Vista on it.

I have a problem with special characters. " is being printed on hit of @ key and Pound symbol is printed on hit of # key.

I have installed Vista with UK English. Could any one please help me with this.

go in the control panel and select the language settings and there change the keyboard layout i guess your keyboard must be set on the us layout?

problem is solved. the keyboard layout was UK.. i changed to US english

Hello! For a while now I've been having a strange problem with my laptop. I can connect to the internet, but when I access my browsers such as internet explorer or google Chrome it says that the page cannot be displayed... It also does this for other programs which require the internet such as Steam or Origin... I would think it's just my computer not receiving the internet, however, I can access the internet with the immersive browser just fine, so that tells me that it is indeed connected to the internet. I don't know why those other programs won't connect...

Any attempts to help fix my problem would be much appreciated! Thank you!

I have a desktop computer pentium 4 with windows xp professional.Can connect to internet but the page cannot be displayed. tried various ways to activate but with no success please help?
