My ipod wont turn on

Hello,

my ipod died because it ran out of battery n then i didnt use it for a month so its a month later and ive gone to charge it and it wont. it comes up in my itunes and says restore so i did that but nothing is happening ive reinstalled itunes, tried the reset button and even tried jus leaving it to charge for a bit NOTHING WORKS CAN ANYONE HELP ME????????
