Internet pages go back by themselves

When on my laptop and on the internet, my pages will automaticallly go backwards to the page I was on previously. Do you know why it would do this?

Dear Tracie,

Please check whether the backspace key is not stuck on your keyboard or that there is no virus causing the trouble.
