IP Address Conflict

Hello,

I have a Linksys router-wrt54gs ,I went on a vacation and used my Laptop in various places through wireless networks and now when I am back home and login to my system,It shows as IP address conflict and it doesn't get connected to the internet.
The signal show as excellent.But when I plug in with the cable I can use the intenet.

I also dont remember my Id and Password.

How to solve this issue???Can anyone help me...?

Hi,

An IP address conflict occurs when two computers have been assigned the same

IP address.

try this 1

Click on Start --> Run --> type cmd and click on OK. Command Pompt will be

opened.

Now type these commands.

ipconfig /release and the press enter.

ipconfig /renew and the press enter.

Check how you configured IP on network adapter, it can be manual static IP assignment or obtain IP automatically. After that check the IP configuration on wireless adapter, configure the same way that you configured on network adapter. After that, try again.
