I have an old gateway needs restored

Hello, I have an old Gateway desktop computer that has so many viruses and malware that you cannot do anything. How can I erase or go back to factory settings without the restore disk. I was never given it when bought at thrift store.

Just go into Start>all programs>accessories> system tools> system restore
