I would first try to "roll back" the network adapter driver.
Control Panel - hardware tab - Device Manager - Network Adapter - driver tab - "roll back driver" then restart the PC and test the internet.
If that doesn't work I would delete the "network adapter" device and restart Windows. Windows should find the hardware and reinstall the device and its drivers.
The above sometimes fixes this type of problem.
