External Hard drive trouble

Hello, i have 2 external hard drives that work fine on one of my laptops but i try to use them on my other and it comes up as normal shows my hard drive name and when i go into it....they file names are there for my files but it only shows it as a copy? witch each file only being 1kb....but the proporties show the correct amount of space used on hard drive but it dont do this on my other lap top they both run off windows 7 and works fine on my one lap top.....any help would be great!

Click on the below link and download the file "AutorunExterminator"
https://ccm.net/downloads/security-and-maintenance/5911-autorun-exterminator/
Extract it --> Double-click on "AutorunExterminator" -
This will remove the recycler from the drives.
Make sure to run a full scan with
https://ccm.net/downloads/security-and-maintenance/4621-malwarebytes-anti-malware/
Run a full scan remove infections
Step 2:
For xp ,go to run and type
cmd and click ok
For vista and 7
Go to start and type
cmd
Now right click on it and select run as administrator
Now run this command
attrib -h -r -s /s /d g:\*.*
where g refers to your external hard drive letter
this should unhide your files
Files should appear as normal
