My toshiba satellite

Hello, everyone, im running windows vista on my old satelitte toshiba, and some how along the line it wouldnt work, so i took the recovery disks out and installed that and cleard out the hard drive. on the second disk it keeps failing. can anyone help please

Other than cleaning the disk there is not much you can do without a replacement disk. If you do clean the disk do NOT wipe in a circular pattern. Wipe from the inside to the outside of the CD.
