Internet not working only Gmail is working Solved/Closed

Hi
I am facing a unique problem on my desktop. I am connected to internet but I am not able to connect to internet using mozilla or IE. Using Google chrome however I am able to access gmail and only gmail but no other site. Gtalk app is running but nothing else. Please advice the unique issue

Problem solved. Avast was blocking web surfing.. dont know why

Hi all,

Try this it will surely work,

1. go to Internet Option

2. Click Connections... from that LAN Settings

3. Enable Automatically detect settings and click OK

then check...

if the setting is not applied then please install the Antivirus then scan the internet option and then try the option above that I given... thank you
