Toshiba satelite a205-5000

something like fried my laptop bios comes up but F2 or F12 does not work it just says please wait forever ... i want to boot from an sd or jump drive but i cant even get to the boot menu it just stays on the toshiba intel screen i have no clue where to start i was just thinking about getting a new hard drive and ram chips but dont wanna waste the money if my board is fryed any1 have any ideas?

I suggest you save your money (and time) and buy a new laptop.

I fixed it, it was a hard drive malfunction, i took out the internal hard drive, then was able to access bio's , re attached the hdd then ran system check and recovery, i reinstalled windows vista and all of the damn updates its running great again ....
