Hi lambala,
This may be a problem with the computer Hardware or Software. To determine, please run "Dell 32-bit Diagnostics" on your Inspiron 1525. You can find steps on how to run "Dell 32-bit Diagnostics" by clicking here. Make a note of any error messages that appear during diagnostics.
Also, try to boot the computer using "Advanced Boot" options by hitting the F8 key repeatedly when the Dell Logo appears. If the "Advanced Boot Menu" appears select "Safe Mode" and check if you can get to the "Desktop".
Do reply with results.
