Hello,

i'm using HD product WD my passport.

i having the problem that my WD passport is not detec on my labtop

could you pls to solve this problem.

99% of the time this problem is the result of drive failure on the external drive. I suggest you test the drive with another computer and then replace it if needed.

i already test to other pc or labtop the result is the same drive can not read on directory. The condition HD still running and indicator lamp as well. So, what the next advice for this problem?

So you have a 98% probability the the drive is dead. Inside the case is either a standard desktop or laptop hard drive. The USB electronics just plugs into the drive. You can buy a new drive and replace the old one.

Probably no chance of data recovery from the current broken drive.
