Hello!!
Can anyone PLZ help!! I'm trying to install Windows XP SP3, (Not On a Laptop) The installation starts good, after booting from the disc it copies the files, then asks me to format the Hard-drive, so I do a quick format.
After formatting it says "Please wait while system copies files to the windows installing folder"
It copies all the way to 100% then the computer automatically restarts. After waiting for a very long time the screen appears "Defraging, stage 1/10" after that I get another screen what says "Preparing to install windows, installing programs, approximately 39min to finnish"
NOW this is where my problem starts, it does not go further/less than 34min. Thats when the blue screen pops up!!! "Sorry windows is shutting down to prevent any further damage".....
So CAN anyone PLZ tell me what to do, why is this happening!!!

MY best guess is you have a marginal hard disk that needs to be replaced.
