My hp note book can boot into bios or load the os

Hello,
When i power on my hp notebook laptop, it brings a black screen with a single vertical line at the center. I can't boot from any device: usb or cd, i cannot access the bios settings i can't do anything.
its stays at that point until i press the power button and it goes off.

centre vertical line... seems like monitor or graphic card issue..
Did you try any external monitor to see whether it works...
