Hello,
I'm a University student trying to set up my PS3 to the University's router. All other devices work fine for everyone, and including myself but our ps3 MAC Adresses must be added to the UWTSD LITE router.
My MAC address has been added so it should work, but it doesn't. Obtaining IP Address keeps failing, "error 8001000B". I have tried manually inputing the IP address but that didn't solve anything and I don't have access to the University's router to "turn it off for 30 seconds then back on".
I'm really clueless as to how to proceed. Valid answers would be extremely appreciated.

Hello
Your best bet is to seek advice from the university network manager. You have paid your student fees so he or she should be pleased to help you.
