guys my passport problem. i Can you feel the drive spinning and i can see the LED turned on when connected. so what exactly is the problem please need help urgently.

The exact problem is it's broken. The read/write heads are very sensitive and can be damaged by a slight bump. This might be the problem.
I suggest you try it on another PC to rule out problems with this PC.
Some users have reported that using a Linux PC sometimes help them recover the lost files.
