I'm working on an old Gateway computer. Every time I turn on the computer it goes to the start up screen then immediately goes to a black screen asking for the system password. You cannot access the BIOS or anything else. The computer model is E-4610s running Windows XP Professional. I've tried taking out the CMOS jumper and starting it up but it still asked for the password.

We are terribly sorry but CCM cannot help you to recover your lost password, because you can't prove that you are the legitimate owner. . Everyday computers are stolen, although you may be honest, we do not wish to help potential criminals.
