Erase External hard drive (MY BOOK 1 TB) Closed

Question

I backed up my HP notebook onto a 1 TB My Book external hard drive . I found out later that my profile was corrupt. Can I wipe MY BOOK clean and start a new back up with my new profile ? How do I wipe it claen ?

Hi Wendy,

if you want to format the USB drive you can do so by going to Start > Computer

right click on the drive and select "format"

then leave the info as default and press OK.
