The upcoming musical year will bring us new albums from many legendary artists who show that there's still life in the old dog. However, youngsters do not lag behind in the number of hits and awards. In this article we will look at some of the most anticipated albums of 2023.
Iggi Pop - Every Loser

Iggy Pop never gets old! We have lost count of how many albums he has already released, and at concerts he will still give odds to the young. The new album "Every Loser" will be released at the very beginning of January, but you can already listen to the singles "Strung Out Johnny" and "Frenzy".
Pet Shop Boys- Hotspot

In 2022, Pet Shop Boys released a joint single with Soft Cell, and now the 14th full-length album of these British electronic pop veterans is just around the corner. Recorded in Berlin, the new Pet Shop Boys album will be released at the end of January next year and will be called "Hotspot".
Smashing Pumpkins - Atum, parts 1 & 2

Grunge veterans Smashing Pumpkins will release two full albums in the new year! These will be two parts of the Atum trilogy rock opera. The first album will be released at the end of January, and the second in the spring.
Paramore - This is why
Release date: February 10th
Six years after releasing their last album, the pop punk trio recorded an album titled "This Is Why". The title track "This is Why" will be the first single from the new album and is already available on major video streaming platforms.

The cartoon mystery band have recorded their newest studio album in a row with a bunch of stars including Beck, Thundercat, Stevie Nicks, Tame Impala, Bootie Brown and Bad Bunny. The release of the album "Cracker Island" is scheduled for the end of February.
Depeche Mode - Memento Mori
The outgoing year has become very difficult for the legendary band due to the death of one of its members, Andy Fletcher. Despite this, Martin Gore and Dave Gahan announced the release of a new album, six years after the last release. So far, only a fragment of one song has been shown and the title of the upcoming release has been announced. Looking forward to March, when the band will start a new world tour!
Metallica - 72 Seasons
Release date: April
The 11th album of these monsters of rock comes out in April. We can already listen to the dense sound and James Hetfield's voice in the single "Lux AEterna", which was released at the end of this year. And just like the British duo we spoke above, Metallica will embark on a big world tour that will take two whole years.
Rihanna - Title TBA
There are more rumors about the long-awaited new album by Rihanna than confirmed information, and we don't know the title yet, but at least we can already listen to two singles that were included in "The Black Panther: Wakanda Forever" soundtrack.
Ed Sheeran - Title TBA
The media was speculating about the title of the upcoming new album by mega-popular troubadour Ed Sheeran: based on the logic of the titles of his previous works (the first album was called "Plus", the second - "Multiply", the third - "Divide", and the fourth - "Equals"), the new creation of the British songwriter can be called "Subtract". However, the singer himself caught up with the mystery by saying in an interview that his next album would not follow this mathematical tradition, and that it would be more... "crooked".
A$AP Rocky - Title TBA
We can already check out two singles, "S-ittin' Me" and "D.M.B" and which will be included in the rapper's new studio album. Perhaps the album, which name is still unknown, will be released at the beginning of the upcoming year.
Kylie Minouge - Title TBA
The Australian disco-pop diva will release her 16th full-length album in mid-2023 (exact release date has yet to be announced). Kylie Minouge's last album, "Disco", was released three years ago, and here is one of his songs, so far there are no singles from the new work.
