When Will Yahoo delete the account?

Hello, i mailed a email ******@yahoo.com and it came back mailbox disabled 554. When will this account be available for signup again? I asume account have been disabled because of inactivity?

Will Yahoo tell when the account is scheduled for deletion if i call Them?

Hi,

If you haven't logged into your account for 1 year, the account will be permanently deleted from the server. Unfortunately, it is impossible to recover it once deleted.

However, if your account was disabled, you can try to recover it by contacting Yahoo from their contact form.

Thanks for your answer but according to verizon TOS they will recycle/reuse the mail if im not wrong so it can be re-registered? How long Will that take currently the account is bouncing 554.30 mailbox disabled. The email ID name is nothing special. I wonder if it will be completely deleted in 12 months so i can signup the same username again?

I can't tell you for sure, but it was apparently possible to reuse the same username. I don't know if this is still possible. You can check this by inserting the username on the Yahoo registration page.

According to their TOS on verizon they might recycle it but thats not pretty usefull so the only thing i can do is to check once in a while if the id has became available again.

Can anyone in here confirm that they have had their account deleted because of inactivity and their id was again available for signup after a year?
