How to remove leading apostrophe in Excel

You may end up with an Excel sheet with lots of cells with a leading apostrophe, which tells Excel to interpret the cell content as a text. It may not be very pleasant and makes all the other formulas using those cells not work. So here we explain to you how to cleverly remove all the leading apostrophes.
To remove leading apostrophe:
- Select all the cells you want to remove the leading apostrophe from
- Click on the Data menu ribbon at the top of the page
- Click on the button named "Text to columns"
- A dedicated wizard will appear, you just need to check the "Delimited" checkbox, and click on "Finish"
