Stardew Valley is a farming simulation role-playing video game (RPG). Developed by Eric Barone (ConcernedApe) alone, it was originally released for Windows in February 2016. In Stardew Valley, you play a character that inherits their grandfather's small house and plot of land that you have to manage.

Gameplay

Once the player creates their character and chooses the type of land, they have to give the farm a new life. This is possible through crafting, fishing, cooking, and exploration. Players can complete different quests and obtain rewards such as money and specific collections of materials (bundles). The latter allows users to earn different items and unlock new areas. Interaction and engaging in-depth relationships with non-playable characters (PNJ) in Pelican Town are also possible.

Farming life: Being a simulator game, Stardew Valley offers all the joys of farming. This means that players can raise animals, craft different machines, and create a personalized farm.
Online Multiplayer: Thanks to the multiplayer mode, Stardew Valley allows players to share their experience with up to 3 other players. In this mode, players can build together, share resources, and work for the community.
Skills: In this game, players can level up 5 different skills: farming, mining, combat, fishing, and foraging. In addition to that, they can also choose a profession and thus, customize their skills. Unlocking new areas and recipes (for cooking and crafting) is also on the list.
Ambiance: One of Stardew Valley's biggest strengths is undoubtedly the relaxing ambiance. This is achieved thanks to the game’s warm colors and peaceful activities. And this is not to mention the amazing soundtrack that was also composed by Eric “ConcernedApe” Barone.

Stardew Valley got a very positive reception, with an overall score of 89 points on Metacritic.

”With so many interconnected systems, from the farm simulation to simple combat and cooking to crafting, and each driving the others forward in some way, it’s a deeper and more complex game than you’d expect after the first day on the farm. Is Stardew Valley cross-platform?

No, cross-platform between different console families isn’t supported. This is possible only between different PC OS such as between Windows and Mac.
