AutoCad: Installation error - Insert Disk 1

AutoCad: Installation error - Insert Disk 1

I am trying to install AutoCad 2013, but the installation wizard keeps prompting me to Insert Disk 1".

Solution for 32 Bit Version

Don't install AutoCad via with the setup.exe, it will keep prompting you for Disk 1.
  • Open the cdrom/setup/x86/acad
  • Run acad.msi

Solution for 64 Bit Version

You can still take advantage of the setup.exe features and bypass the insert disk 1 issue by following these steps:

1- open the ISO file using any iso application.
2- extract the setup.ini file and open it in the notepad.
3- Using Notepad, edit the setup.ini file in the installer and add "USE_REMOVABLE_DRIVE=YES" under [SETUP].
4- save the file and replace the setup.ini in the ISO image.
5- burn it or mount it to a virtual drive.
6- simply run setup.exe
this will make the setup.exe works fine and continue the process.

Thanks to Azimus and MaxStart for these solutions.

A few words of thanks would be greatly appreciated.
