Monitor keeps going into power save mode

Hello,

My Dell monitor (don't know model number, but it came with Inspiron 550 about 8 years so) keeps going into Power Save mode. I've taken all the steps that were recommended, but it' only works for a few hours, before it screws up again.

Will buying a new monitor help? (from what I've read, I think not). What will?

Hello,

Have you checked if the VGA cable is loose? This is the wire that connects the monitor to your PC! Let us know if this works
