I have had a real problem too. But I just got it to work. Try this
1 log in to facebook
2 AFTER logged in to facebook, delete your cookies, if on ie8 UNcheck the top box under delete browsing history that says "Preserve Favorites website data"
2 in the address bar put in the following https://apps.facebook.com/login/?next=https%3A%2F%2Fapps.facebook.com%2Fonthefarm%2Findex.php
3 if it asks you to log in again, go ahead.
Tell me if that works, I really want to know.
