no sound no volume Closed

Hello,

     I no longer have volume control, volume at all or sound after installing windows xp service pack 2 so I could install Norton antivirus 360. When I troubleshooted myself it sai no audio device. What do I do please help and thank you so much? I have a IBM think pad model 2682 with windows xp 2002 professional edition

Hi there,

After fresh windows installation you need to install the drivers for the chipset and other hardware present to make it functional,you will get the drivers from official Ibm manufacturer website by following link below:

https://www.ibm.com/support/home/

Disable your anti virus software before installing the missing drivers.
