No sound from my headphones

Hello, am bibo and i can't any sound from my headphones. am using hp pavilion dv6000 note book.

This headphone works well on other computers. the sound coming from the internal speakers is so perfect and loud but i cant use the headphones which i really need especially when working so that i dont inconvinance my co-workers during work with my music.

Dear Bibo,

Please get to the Sound and Audio Devices and in the general tab, change the advanced speaker settings to Headphones and hence get it working properly.
