Inspiron 1525 HELP

so my laptop is an inspiron 1525 and it starts up pretty normally but then the screen instead of being where i log in and type my password is a black screen with my cousor on it. this all started after my sister decided to open the task manger and start deleting processes!!! it freaked out and i tried to restart it and now it does this... PLEASE HELP
