My new HP laptop won't turn on. It was working normally, but perhaps it's infected with a virus. Yesterday I turned it off as normal, and today it's dead. No sound from fan and no LED.
System Configuration: Windows 7 / Internet Explorer 8.0

Are you able to turn on your laptop after following the below instruction again. Follow the below instruction
and leave your laptop for 10mins and then connect the power supply and turn on the laptop.
Let me know what happens when you connect the power adapter to your laptop. Is the battery getting charged.
Is the power led blinking ? Let me know your laptop model number also.

When the desktop appears --> Go to control panel --> power option --> There you can find the option "When I close the lid", select the option "Do Nothing" from the drop-down menu --> Click on OK --> Shutdown you laptop and now check if you are able to turn ON the laptop again without any problem.
