my 1TB WD My Passport suddenly did not work. when I plugged it in my laptop it has the following:
1. light on the external hard disk (pilot light ON);
2. I can hear the disk inside rotating.
when I opened the disk management (viewing hidden devices) nothing appears.
please help.

1. connect your hard disk and go to control panel and click on new hardware wizard and then next and select driver automatically from windows and restart system it will work certainly.....
2. connect your hard disk in back panel of the cpu it will work.
