Ipod touch 4th gen not charging!!!!!

hii!
I got my ipod for my birthday last november and it worked fine until last month it started not charging.It charged only at half.After 2 or 3 days it started charging normally.This didn't last for too long because after 1 week it went red and it didn't charged.Now my Ipod only recognines the charger but it doesn't charge.I tried another charger but it is the same thing.I also tried holding at the same time the lock button and the menu button but it doesn't do anything.Please please please help.....

yeahh about that...I saw that reply and I tried it several times but it doesn't help maybe because my ipod is at red and it doesn't show the apple logo it just shows the battery in red that is "charging".....
