Hi Sayan,
Could you tell me what method have you tried? I strongly recommend you to check if the drive is visible in Disk Management. Does it have a drive letter and a file format? If there is no drive letter, try to assign one. If the drive is not visible in Disk Management, search for it in Device Manager, under the USB devices. Uninstall it, restart the PC and plug the device back in. Check your external with another USB cable and on another PC.
Are there any noises coming from the drive? Do you have valuable data on the drive?
