Toshiba laptop, satellite turns off by itself

This usually happens if the wrong charger is being used, or your charger is broken. You can test this by trying another correctly matched known working charger into your machine, or trying your charger on another machine that uses the same sort od supply (voltage and current requirements).
Occasionally (I see it rarely) the battery can be broken and is grabbing all the charge for itself and not letting the computer get any so it cant boot up. For this try removing the battery and switch it on using only the charger for power.
