PS3 won't connect to wifi
Closed
Hello,
So, I was doing my thing playing games, but now it won't work. What happened was that I recently changed the passcode for my wifi, and then tried to enter it onto the PS3. However, even though I was certain that I put in the right pass code, it said it would not connect to the IP address, and that the wpa key may not be correct. I have tried many things, but it won't work.
Please help.

ok, when you changed the code, did you change the band it was broadcasting on? If you changed to N only, that is issue, change back to B/G!
The Ps3 does not have N rated card, but N standard uses G to receive, and N to send. So you PS3 is Starting to connect, but never gets ACK back on N band (as it doesn't exist on PS3), it disconnects as gateway never sent ACK in time!
