Computer connected to Internet but no internet

A few days ago an issue began where my computer would lose Internet access even though it is connected. I have looked up fixes, but none of them have worked for me. I'm not the most technical person, but I know that I have a windows 10 toshiba. My computer is the only device to have this problem.

Hi InfraredKING,

So, other devices use the same internet connection without any problems? Are you using a wireless connection? The first thing to do is to confirm that another device is working normally while using the same type of connection. If you have already tested that, open the web page of your laptop’s manufacturer and search for driver updates. Install them, restart the PC and open Device Manager. Do you see any problem, marked with a yellow sign?

Just wanna give this some closure.

For the first few days only my computer was being affected, but now it's everything. I don't know if it's fixed now, but as far as I am concerned, it isn't as bad anymore. I don't know if doing your suggestion helped, but my computer stays connected to the Internet as long as everyone else now. Thank you R2D2_WD

Please pardon the interruption, but it may have been updates that were being applied. Windows 10 (in my experience), take a long while to apply updates, over several days sometime!
