No internet

I am running Win 10 on my HP laptop. My modem stays connected to my PC, but the internet keeps dropping off and it is gone for days. Can anyone help me solve this issue? I will be very grateful for any help anyone can give me. Jazikat

First call is to your ISP to trouble shoot. You can change settings on your client all you want, but if the network is dropping, then it doesn't matter. Is it your gateway, or the ISP's? Call your isp, tell them you cannot use their service, and cancel if they don't fix it! If it is the only ISP in town, then I don't knw what to say!
