How To Make a GIF with Your Face

Social media and the internet has revolutionized the way we communicate. One of the newer additions in social media has been animated GIFs (Graphics Interchange Format). These fun animations can spice up any conversations to make your messages more fun. To learn how to make your own GIFs with your face in a GIF , follow the steps below.


Install Morphin

First, install Morphin, a free app and very easy to use that makes a 3D image of your face that you can use to create an animated GIF. Download Morphin for Android here, and for iOS devices check here.

Choose the Correct Photo

Once you've downloaded Morphin, make sure you have a good image to create your animated GIF. Open the app and follow the steps shown to get started making your GIF. This app works best if you take a selfie with a neutral background, such as a wall. The app will tell you if the photo is appropriate, if so you will be able to continue to the next step.

N.B.: Make sure you have sufficient light when taking your photo to use for the GIF. The site requires a a bright image so that it can accurately be modified to a GIF.

Choose Your Favorite GIF

Once you have your face photo, Morphin will let you to choose from one of their animated GIFs. Go to the main screen of the application, and choose the animated GIF that you like most. After you've chosen one, look at the right side of the screen. You will find the photos that you took with the app. Select the one you like the most, and Morphin will use it to create your custom animated GIF.
