Can't see all computers on XP home network

I had the same problem that XP SP3 wont see the other computer in workgroup,
after trying for while with all the advice, this is what solved for me following entries which were copied from my other xp system.(you may not need all the parameters)
[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control\NetworkProvider\HwOrder]
"ProviderOrder"="RDPNP,LanmanWorkstation,WebClient,PnSson"
[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control\NetworkProvider\Order]
"ProviderOrder"="RDPNP,LanmanWorkstation,WebClient,PnSson"
