No internet explorer

Hello,

I cannot get on the internet, but I can send and receive messages. I did steps 1-5 and further optimized my browser settings by following your steps. I still cannot get on the internet......lyc

Hi there,

Please give full and complete information for on the issue also conforming if its a pc or mobile phone as mentioned you can send messages,

Im sorry. My operating system is XP and explorer 8. It is a HP desktop.

When I try to get on the internet, it just gives me a message IE cannot display the webpage, no matter which website I go to. I used to be able to diagnose connection problems and it would say this: Can not use HTTP, HTTPS or FTP or something like that. Now it will not even diagnose the problem.
