Hello,

Am facing the booting problem that is when am installing the xp there give a error set updid not find any hard disk drive installed in your computer and installation will not completed pls help me....am search in the net for solution of this problem that is "This is a known error. When you are trying to downgrade your OS, if the hard disk is SATA drive and it was locked. for this you can change in BIOS to off SATA option.

Your system proabaly came set to "RAID Autodetect / AHCI" - THIS SETTING CAUSES YOUR SYSTEM TO GO INTO AN IDE LOOP AND DOESN'T ALLOW IT TO FIND YOUR FACTORY INSTALLED SATA DRIVE." but in bios setting am cant see that options to slove plsssssss give suggestions to rectify this problem.......pls Mail deleted by a moderator
